My PhD focuses on the building behaviour of ants and the impact of this nest on the metabolic rate of the whole-colony. Supervised by Dr Andrea Perna and Dr Lewis Halsey. Currently, I am in my first year PhD in Life Sciences at the University of Roehampton.
I have just begun my PhD so I am currently maintaining colonies. In the near future, the aim will be to measure some individuals' metabolic rate and then test the whole-colony metabolic rate.
