WHO ARE RUBEL?

The Roehampton University Behaviour and Energetics Lab (RUBEL) is a research group in the University of Roehampton's Department of Life Sciences. It is home to PhD students, post docs and academics who predominantly investigate animal metabolism and how this relates to both their activities and their environments. We study a great diversity of organisms from gammarus to kittiwakes, as well as ourselves as a tractable model. Our investigations take place at field sites across the globe including the Caribbean and the sub-Antarctic, and we also undertake laboratory experiments to isolate specific factors of interest.
